BIO
Aline Ochoa is a Mexican born -raised in Europe Fashion designer, with an experience of 15 years working for luxury houses between Paris and London.
Through her studies of architecture at the London University, she developed a strong eye for shapes and construction, her passion for fabrics and materials brought her latter on to study fashion in Italy (Istituto Europeo di design).
After concluding her studies in Fashion design and winning the 15th International Contest for Young Designers in Italy, she started her career working for Yves Saint Laurent where she quickly gained a lead design position under the creative direction of Stefano Piliati. She gained further experience in working as a senior designer for the houses of Alexander McQueen, Azzedine Alaïa and Givenchy, amongst others, on the creation of their Haute Couture and ready to wear collections.
She was responsible for the costume design in productions for Hollywood feature movies and the Operas in Paris and Tokyo.
In 2011 Aline Ochoa created together with the support of her husband Tom Bauer, her own couture house in Paris opening a boutique-atelier in the heart of Saint Germain des Près in Paris, she presented twice a year her couture & RTW collections during Paris Fashion week.
She received the following awards:

· Winner, Fashion Award, “All in one night¨ Competition IED, Rome, Italy, 2005
· Winner «Best Female Couture Collection » 15th Edition Concorso Nazionale Professione Moda Giovani Stilisti - RMI 2005
Since 2011 Aline focuses mostly on her couture custom made collections and works in parallel as a creative consultant on the women’s wear sector for different fashion houses in Europe, often at the head of their creative team.
Her current inter-disciplinary research about future thinking and the re-evolution in the Fashion industry addresses issues of sustainability, environmental solutions, social consciousness and cultural evolution.
She has been holding several lectures and conferences in Europe and Asia.
In her eyes the dignity of the spirit & mind calls for noble and high quality materials, assembled carefully applying the artisanal handcraft and innovative Couture techniques. Her pieces are not meant to be seasonal but rather aspires to be part of a woman’s timeless wardrobe. In feeling well-balanced, Aline Ochoa’s women communicates self-consciously an image of a unique, elegant and beautiful women.
